A new fitness option has officially opened its doors in Hope Mills, taking over a familiar spot in town.

Planet Fitness is now open at 3333 North Main Street in Hope Mills, moving into the space that was previously home to Surge Trampoline Park. The new club spans more than 42,000 square feet and is built around a layout designed to serve a wide range of workout styles and fitness levels.

Inside, members will find a large mix of strength and cardio equipment, including free weights, plate-loaded machines, bench press stations, hack squats and a seated calf machine. The gym also features more than 61 pieces of cardio equipment, along with a functional training room that includes turf space for agility work.

Several dedicated areas round out the floor, including a high-intensity interval training space with air bikes and rowers, as well as a separate mobility and stretching area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the club, and the cardio machines can connect wirelessly to the facility’s TVs.

For members who choose the PF Black Card membership, the location also includes a Black Card Spa area with HydroMassage loungers, massage chairs, Recovery Loungers and hybrid tanning beds.

The Hope Mills location is offering a limited grand-opening deal. Anyone who joins by February 13 can receive their first month free with either a Classic Card or PF Black Card membership.

Every membership includes access to the gym’s strength and cardio equipment, along with free fitness training and use of the Planet Fitness mobile app, which features hundreds of on-demand workouts.

The new club is operated by Excel Fitness and marks the company’s 29th Planet Fitness location in the Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville market.
