An Italian shipyard’s debut superyacht is an amazing beast that draws inspiration from our favorite topic- supercars.

An upstart builder called Tuxedo Yachting House has stepped into the big leagues with a 40 meter, full aluminium concept named the Ceccarelli 40.

It’s the shipyard’s first true superyacht-sized project after previously focusing on boats under 20 meters.

True to form, the debut model leans heavily into Italy’s love of automotive design, borrowing visual cues straight from the supercar world.

How this amazing superyacht was inspired by supercars

The Ceccarelli 40 is pitched as a full custom superyacht where it counts, with owners able to tailor the interior layout and design while keeping the exterior the same.

The project brings together an all-Italian design team with Francesco Paszkowski overseeing the concept, interiors by architect Margherita Casprini, exterior styling by Sebastian Martinez, and naval architecture handled by NAMES, the studio led by Francesco Rogantin.

The supercar influence is anything but subtle.

The yacht features sculpted side structures that extend beyond the beam, drawing comparisons to aerodynamic race car spoilers, while the overall exterior is designed to make the yacht instantly recognizable at the dock.

Even the bow becomes part of the statement, incorporating a lounge area beneath the wheelhouse and storage solutions inspired by automotive packaging.

What you get on board

Measuring 40 meters, or 131 feet, the Ceccarelli 40 is designed around oodles of internal volume.

The proposed layout accommodates up to 10 guests across five en-suite cabins, including a full beam master suite positioned forward on the main deck and four guest cabins located on the lower deck.

Crew quarters are designed for up to eight people, including a captain’s cabin.

The superyacht platform has also been engineered with future-proofing in mind, allowing for a hybrid propulsion setup with battery integration should an owner choose to go that route.

It’s certainly the superyacht of the future, and we have no doubt it’ll be popular with both yacht and supercar fans alike.
