Gothic Beauty Magazine celebrated the release of Gothic Beauty Box 59 and Gothic Beauty Magazine 59 with a night of spectacular dark fashion, dramatic makeup, community spirit, and cool giveaways at Wenzday’s Party at Boardner’s in Hollywood on February 4, 2026. The historic Hollywood venue, which has been home to some of LA’s most iconic alternative nightlife since 1942, provided the perfect backdrop for our gothic gathering.

Guests arrived dressed to impress for a red carpet photo opportunity, and they did so with style. The evening was a showcase of the creativity and artistry that defines the gothic community: elaborate Victorian-inspired gowns, striking PVC ensembles, hand-crafted accessories, and boldly sculpted makeup looks that ranged from ethereal to theatrical. Vivid hair colors of electric green, deep purple, fiery red, and midnight blue lit up the step-and-repeat, alongside dramatic eye designs, expertly contoured black and white cosmetics, and statement lip colors in every shade of dark.

Gothic Beauty Magazine 59 features Chain Cult’s sustainable chainmail designs by Meri Lujan, the baroque floral artistry of Arcane Arrangements by Charles Berger, a gothic Salem vow renewal, and a Lip Service editorial showcasing their signature strappy black PVC and hardware. The issue also includes an exclusive interview with the band Solar Fake, plus spotlights on Pixel Grip, Dove Cameron, Ministry, and Yungblud and more.

The release party was made possible by sponsors Lip Service, the legendary LA-based pioneers of gothic, punk, and rock fashion since 1985; Dark Asteroid Pretty, creators of the viral sensation Ghostly white foundation and luxury alternative cosmetics; LashyDoodle, makers of the ultra black pressed powder Doom Dust goth makeup essential; and Zinetastic, the independent publishing platform that distributes Gothic Beauty Magazine and the Gothic Beauty Box. DJs Tommy Secosky and Jpeg ZeroOne kept the dancefloor alive with classic goth and industrial music all night.

Gothic Beauty Magazine Issue 59 is available now in print and digital editions, and as part of the Gothic Beauty Box, at Zinetastic.com.
