Marblehead’s annual Wellness Day will return on Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marblehead Community Center, bringing together dozens of local health, fitness, and community organizations under one roof.
Organized by Tom McMahon and the Marblehead Board of Health, the free event is designed to connect residents with wellness resources that already exist in town — some of which many people may not even realize are here.
During a recent Board of Health meeting, organizers said about half of the invited participants have already confirmed they will attend, with additional vendors expected to join. Board members described the raffle prizes as especially strong this year, highlighted by two tickets to the April 14, 2026, Boston Bruins vs. New Jersey Devils game, donated by McMahon, the final regular-season home game, when players traditionally give jerseys to select fans after the game.
Attendance is free, and entering the raffle is simple: attendees fill out a form upon arrival and are automatically entered to win. No purchase is required.

Organizers emphasized that the event is about more than prizes. The goal is to showcase the range of options available in Marblehead, recognizing that wellness looks different for everyone. Past events have drawn several hundred attendees, even when scheduled over a holiday weekend, and officials are optimistic about turnout this year.
“Wellness is never one-size-fits-all,” McMahon said, noting that simply making residents aware of their options can have a lasting impact.
Additional raffle prizes may be announced ahead of the event.
