As Londoners increasingly seek social experiences that prioritise connection, movement and atmosphere over alcohol, nightlife spaces are being reimagined for a new generation. This April, Ministry of Sound Games returns, transforming the legendary club into a competitive, music-led fitness arena and launching a four-date series across 2026.
Kicking off on April 11th, followed by events in June, September and November, Ministry of Sound Games blends structured physical competition with the sensory impact of a world-class nightclub. The series will open with DJ and celebrity Jack Fowler headlining the first event of the year.
Created by Ministry of Sound, Games is staged entirely inside a nightclub, drawing on the club’s 35-year legacy of sound, culture and collective experience. In 2026, participants compete in pairs through a sequence of immersive fitness zones inside the club’s main room, before transitioning into dedicated social and recovery spaces designed to encourage post-competition connection.
Earlier this year, Ministry of Sound completed a full renovation of its main room in January, installing a new lighting system by Lucid Creates alongside a KV2 sound system by Patchwork London. These upgrades place Games inside one of the most technically advanced club spaces in the world, offering a setting unlike any other fitness event in the UK.
“Ministry of Sound Games brings the club experience into the world of fitness, and we’re the first competition in the UK staged inside a nightclub, with authentic DJs, lighting and production built into the format”, says Daisy Proctor, Head of Marketing at Ministry of Sound Games.
April’s edition marks the first of four Ministry of Sound Games events planned for 2026, as the series continues to explore how club culture can evolve beyond traditional nightlife and respond to changing social habits.
About Ministry of Sound Games
First Launched in 2025 Ministry of Sound Games is the UK’s first nightclub-based fitness competition, combining functional workouts, timed waves, interactive leaderboards and festival-style production. Participants compete in pairs across immersive zones, earn points, and battle for prizes each weekend.
“Ministry of Sound Games brings the club experience into the world of fitness, and we’re the first competition in the UK staged inside a nightclub, with authentic DJs, lighting and production built into the format” says Daisy Proctor, Head of Marketing at Ministry of Sound Games.
“Fitness events have traditionally focused purely on competition; Games is about competition, culture and connection – giving people the freedom to compete, socialise and celebrate in the same space. At a time when people want to invest in their health while also meeting like-minded people, Games sits at the intersection of fitness, culture and community.”
