Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has delivered a full injury update ahead of the World Club Challenge, with doubt cast over Dean Hadley’s fitness.
The influential forward was a late withdrawal against York Knights, with the reigning champions falling to a shock 19-18 defeat at the LNER Community Stadium.

Hadley, 33, pulled out during the warm-up on Thursday night, having been named to start in the front-row. The experienced utility was replaced by Jack Brown, while the Robins fell to a defeat after Ata Hingano kicked a late drop goal against the reigning champions.
The momentum shifted when Mikey Lewis was sent to the sin-bin for a trip on Liam Harris in the second half, with York overturning a 18-6 deficit in front of a sell-out crowd. It also marked the club’s first Super League fixture, promoted ahead of the 2026 campaign.
Meanwhile, as expected, new recruit and 2023 Dream Team prop Tom Amone should be available to face Brisbane Broncos at the MKM Stadium. The two respective champions will go head-to-head on February 19, while the NRL champions touched down in England earlier this week.

Hooker Jez Litten also passed a head injury assessment to return against York in the early exchanges, going on to assist Rovers’ three tries.
“Dean had a rib issue, and then he got an injection that didn’t work,” Peters explained post-match. “It didn’t have the effect that we thought it would. He obviously didn’t take to the field. We’re not sure on him, we’ll have to wait and see.
“I just hope he’s okay, because he’s an important part to what we do.

“Jez Litten is fine, he got through the game. Tom Amone should be fine, and it depends how everyone comes out of York.”
