Ushering in the season of love, functional food, beverages, and supplement brands have released a flurry of heart-aligned nutritional product launches, including “medical-grade” heart supplement products, aphrodisiac energy drinks, and gut-loving prebiotic sparkling waters that pair complementary “puckering” flavors.
Nutrition Insight showcases these new product developments in our Valentine’s Day roundup of the latest market activity, featuring brands Bloom Nutrition, GNC, BlackLabel Supplements, and Maison Perrier.
Among this year’s highlights, Bloom Nutrition has released a limited-edition Strawberry Rose Sparkling Energy Drink, which features a dedicated customizable side with a “To:/From:” spot and “xoxo” hearts, where consumers can address their Valentine directly on the packaging.
The beverage contains 180 mg of caffeine from green coffee beans. It is also tagged with claims of increasing energy, boosting metabolism, and promoting mental focus based on its infusions of lychee and green tea extracts.
Meanwhile, l-theanine and ginseng in the formula enhance cognitive function and promote a “sense of calm, prevent brain fog, and elevate focus.”
“Customers say this sparkling energy drink delivers steady energy without jitters or crashes. Many reviews mention the refreshing taste and variety of flavors, with raspberry lemon and strawberry watermelon frequently highlighted as favorites,” states the brand.
According to Bloom Nutrition’s consumer research, the carbonated beverage appeals to consumers seeking an alternative to traditional energy drinks, although some find it too sweet. The brand adds that most consumers consider it as a refreshing option for daily energy needs.
Supplementing healthy hearts
GNC has entered a new partnership with High Level Science, a high-quality supplement brand co-founded by influencer and wellness advocate Ashley Parker Angel and interventional cardiologist David Rizik, M.D.
The collaboration unveiled two of High Level Science’s flagship formulas — High Level Man, a 12-in-1 testosterone support formula, and High Level Heart + Body + Mind — to The Drop, GNC’s innovation hub for breakthrough wellness brands.
“As a cardiologist, I’ve seen firsthand how gaps in cardiovascular and metabolic health can impact quality of life long before symptoms show up,” notes Rizik, adding that both products jointly support heart, brain, and hormone health.

We’re excited to bring Heart + Body + Mind and High Level Man to more customers who want medical-grade formulas in a trusted retail environment.”
Self-love and strength
On Valentine’s Day, sports supplement brand BlackLabel Supplements is leaning into “self-love and strength” in the branding behind its creatine monohydrate formulation. The company highlights that in recent years, sports supplementation has become part of the self-care industry.
“Love is an incredible thing, but it’s not just for sharing with others,” says BlackLabel CEO and Founder Troy Bell. “Seeing our culture shift and better prioritize healthy living is truly a sight to behold, and we are proud to be offering safe resources to those dedicated to improving themselves. We are excited to see what 2026 trends have in store.”
BlackLabel Supplements’ creatine monohydrate is an unflavored powder and can be easily added to any beverage of choice. Once consumed, the compound boosts muscle creatine stores, with claims of bringing the body’s typically 60–80% stock to 100%.
