Main Street Wellness, Kim Rich top Willow Springs Chamber honors

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce celebrated local excellence and creativity on Feb. 7 during its 2025 annual Awards Banquet. Hosted at Pine Meadows Venue, the event featured a “DIY Table Wars” theme that saw attendees competing for the best table design while honoring the community’s standout businesses and volunteers.

The evening, emceed by Marty Spence, serves as the chamber’s primary gathering to recognize those driving economic vitality and community spirit in Willow Springs.

Taking home the night’s top professional honor was Main Street Wellness Center, named the 2025 Business of the Year. The award recognizes a chamber member that has made significant contributions to the community or industry over the past year.

The Coffee Deck, owned by Curtis and Carrie Good, received the Emerging Business of the Year award, which highlights entrepreneurial spirit and determination in a newer business.

Individual honors were led by Kim Rich, who was named Citizen of the Year for her tireless work promoting Willow Springs as a destination to live, work and visit.

Wendell Bailey received the Community Betterment Award for outstanding service through civic and charitable efforts. The Volunteers of the Year award was presented to Dennis and Yvonne Asher for their impactful community leadership.

In the education sector, high school ag instructors Grant Talburt and Shiloh Walden were jointly named Educators of the Year for their dedication to students. Karis Cochran was named Youth of the Year for demonstrating leadership and character.

The “Table Wars” competition, which encouraged guests to dress in character and decorate their tables, concluded with the City of Willow Springs winning for their “Rockin’ the ‘80s” theme.
