MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WENY) — A local animal shelter is giving back to those who serve by helping their pets stay healthy. The Humane Society of Schuyler County is set to host a free Military, First Responder and Veteran Wellness Clinic.
The event is happening Saturday, February 21 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Humane Society of Schuyler County, located at 124 Marina Drive in Montour Falls.
The free clinic will provide several basic veterinary services, including core vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, microchipping, deworming, and treatment for basic skin and ear conditions.
The event is funded through the Hero Companion Care Fund and supported by the Gary Sinise Foundation and Maddie’s Shelter Medicine Program at Cornell University.
