JACKSONVILLE, AL — The Calhoun County Extension Office will present an upcoming health and nutrition program at the Jacksonville Public Library on Monday, February 17, at 10 a.m.

The program, presented by Ms. Annette Felton, will focus on promoting healthier lifestyles through education and practical guidance. Topics will include proper physical activity, food preparation with an emphasis on safe handling and sanitation, and recommendations on appropriate portion sizes and how often individuals should eat.

Organizers say the session is designed to provide attendees with useful information they can apply in daily life to support overall wellness and healthy habits.

The event will be held at the Jacksonville Public Library, located at 200 Pelham Rd. S., and is open to the public.
