— The Senior Nutrition Program offers a nutritionally balanced meal for all people and is open for in-person dining at locations in both Pine River and Crosslake.
In Pine River, meals are served at 11 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Heartland Apartments, 445 Snell Ave., in Pine River.
In Crosslake, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Crosslake Community Center.
The suggested voluntary donation is $7 per meal for those over 60 and $10.50 for those under 60.
To make a reservation to eat in the dining hall, to pick up a meal or to have a meal delivered, call 218-420-2828 in Pine River or 218-409-7960 in Crosslake. Call a day ahead. Leave a message.
Menus are subject to change. Meals are served with low-fat milk.
Feb. 16-20
Monday: Chicken and dumplings, green beans, diced pears, wheat bread and margarine with a cheesecake brownie.Tuesday: Chicken broccoli rice casserole, sliced carrots, Gala apple, dinner roll and margarine.
Wednesday: Meatloaf, baked potato, sour cream, broccoli, applesauce, wheat bread and margarine.Thursday: Diced turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, whole kernel corn, diced peaches, dinner roll and margarine.Friday: Potato crunch fish fillet, tartar sauce, mashed sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat dinner roll, margarine, snickerdoodle cookie.
