PRICE – Carbon and Emery county residents can now improve their health and wellness from the comfort of their own home thanks to Dixie’s IV & Wellness Hub. Owned by Dixie Melo, the business offers mobile IV therapy services in the two-county area.
Melo is a licensed registered nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governors University. She has over 15 years of experience as a nurse with a background in surgery, emergency situations, and in-patient and out-patient care. Melo is directly affiliated with Hydreight, a company that makes health and wellness more accessible by connecting clients with licensed medical professionals.
Intravenous (IV) therapy is the process of delivering fluids, vitamins, minerals, etc. through the vein, bypassing the digestive system for immediate absorption. Dixie’s IV & Wellness Hub specializes in IV services such as hydration, hangover/detox, migraine, energy, athlete recovery, immune support, beauty/youth, and prenatal. Clients have various payment options, including cash, credit card, Venmo or health savings account (HSA).
Melo also offers semaglutide and tirzepatide to aid in weight loss. This includes a physician consultation with the medication delivered right to your door. Additionally, clients can receive supportive injections to assist with weight loss, which help make you feel better while you lose weight.
To celebrate the grand opening for Dixie’s IV & Wellness Hub, the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026.
