ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn State Altoona will offer students an opportunity to kick-start a fitness journey through a free peer-mentorship exercise program.

The KINect program provides six weeks of one-on-one personal training by an upper-level kinesiology student. Following an orientation, students will meet with their mentor twice a week for an hour each session and track their progress. Whether new to the gym or pursuing new goals, students will gain a regular exercise program, knowledge and confidence in fitness, and a chance to connect with fellow students.

KINect will begin after spring break. Students are encouraged to sign up online.
