GHOST RANCH, N.M. – Village of Bluewater residents Kristine Simonson and son Eric Brinn participated in the Survivor 50 States Challenge where they found a Hidden Immunity Idol on February 14.
Solving clues in the competition led the Bluewater residents to Ghost Ranch, near Abiqu, New Mexico, where a quick history lesson on New Mexico art legend Georgia O’Keefe culminated in a hike up Chimney Rock in Rio Arriba County where they found a Hidden Immunity Idol from a former Survivor season held in Fiji.
The pair will now compete against other athletes who completed the challenge, vying for the opportunity to attend the live finale of Survivor 50.
