The recall was discovered after a pet owner reported that their cat fell ill.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Go Raw LLC is recalling Quest Cat Food Chicken Recipe Freeze Dried Nuggets due to low levels of vitamin B1, also known as thiamine.
The recalled cat food came in a 10-ounce bag with lot code number C25288 and a sell-by date of Oct. 15, 2027, according to the FDA.
