The St. Louis Building Trades Worker Wellness Coalition has launched a new website designed to provide resources to strengthen the health, safety and future of the tradespeople who build the region.

The coalition, which was formed last year, includes tradespeople and partners united in a common goal: to break the stigma surrounding mental health, substance misuse and the suicide crisis. The new website can be found at stlbtwellness.org.

“We’re committed to ensuring resources are available, making treatment accessible and deploying peer support whenever and wherever it’s needed,” the coalition states on the website.

The new website was unveiled at the Jan. 28 St. Louis Building Trades Worker Wellness Coalition quarterly meeting held at Laborers Local 110 union hall in Sunset Hills. It offers a plethora of resources for those seeking immediate or long-term help.

ABOUT THE COALITION
In addition to providing peer support, the coalition can help tradespeople find the right next step – whether that’s support, treatment options or community services. It’s confidential, judgment-free and focused on helping the tradesperson move forward.

The coalition also offers training opportunities that increase awareness, reduce stigma and give members practical tools to recognize signs of crisis and respond effectively. Trainings can be delivered at union halls, contractor meetings or jobsite settings.

Additionally, the coalition, through its new website, offers a resource hub making it easy to access mental health, recovery and crisis support – including local St. Louis options and national lifelines. Whether a member needs immediate help or long-term support, the coalition provides clear pathways and printable tools that can be shared on jobsites and at home.
