Between the extravagant costumes, jaw-dropping sets, and Jacob Elordi’s general presence, Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights was a serious feast for the eyes. But above all, there was thing I couldn’t stop staring at from my AMC recliner: Margot Robbie’s perfectly pink pout.
I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to know someone’s lip combo so badly in my life—and thanks to makeup and hair designer Siân Miller’s interview with Allure, I can recreate her rosy look for less than the price of a latte (!!) Yep, you read that right: The product on Margot Robbie’s lips was none other than Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm, and it costs just $5.
Honestly, I shouldn’t be surprised that Burt’s Bees was behind Margot’s natural-looking lip color. It’s got a sheer, buildable formula for that elusive “your lips, but better” effect, and it’s infused with shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil to keep your pout looking hydrated. It comes in eight different shades, and Margot wore Rose, a deep pink hue with a neutral undertone.
As if Margot’s seal of approval weren’t enough, this lip balm is also beloved by Cosmo’s beauty team. “I normally stick to the OG Burt’s Bees, but when I want more of a makeup-y look, the rose tint is my go-to,” says beauty director Lauren Balsamo. “It’s super hydrating and the wash of pink it gives is so pretty and wearable.”
Burt’s Bees’ tinted lip balm is by far the cheapest product in Margot’s Wuthering Heights makeup routine—but if you want to recreate her full look, her MUA gave Allure all the details. To complete Margot’s lip combo, Miller used Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk. As for those scandalously flushed cheeks? She wore a rotation of blushes: Merit Flush Balm Cream in Après and Postmodern, Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Happy and Hope, Chanel Lip and Cheek Balm in Berry Boost (already sold out!), and a Pat McGrath Labs Divine Cream Blush.
