The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is hosting at 4 p.m. on Feb. 20 a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its Cedar Wellness Center.
The event is celebrating the opening of new clinic services, including dental and medical care. It also will mark the official opening of the center’s newly constructed offices on the building’s second floor.
The Cedar Wellness Center opened in 2024 as an outpatient facility for those dealing with opioid addiction. It offers personalized care and individualized case treatment.
While maintaining a focus on aiding those struggling with substance-use disorders, the center has since expanded to offer services in primary care, infectious diseases, and mental health needs.
