Comedian Nikki Glaser is great at making us laugh, but the truth is that the “FBoy Island” host can also teach us a thing or two about beauty. While Glaser loves going for a full glam look whenever she’s on a red carpet or stage, the truth is that the comedian looks just as stunning without any makeup. In January 2026, Glaser shared her “pre-show beauty routine” with Vogue, and at the beginning of the video, the comedian can be seen with no makeup.
In the video posted to Vogue’s Instagram, Glaser revealed that one of her biggest skincare secrets is actually affordable. “Guys, this is truly my only secret,” the “Trainwreck” actor gushed to the outlet in her interview. “I’ve been using this for probably seven to 10 years: The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane. Obsessed!” The comedian revealed that the serum is a consistent part of her beauty routine, adding that she “can go crazy with stuff. It doesn’t come off on clothes; it soaks in so well. It’s so slick and so hydrating. I’m obsessed.” It’s no secret that squalane is a part of the skincare ingredient combo that will up your hydration game, which explains why Glaser’s skin always looks so dewy and plump, even in her early 40s.
Nikki Glaser’s makeup is all about healthy-looking skin
While Nikki Glaser is great at doing her own makeup, for big industry events, the star often collaborates with celebrity makeup artist Jenna Kristina. “… I think makeup looks the best when it looks like skin,” the artist told Page Six in 2025, and it is clear that Glaser agrees. Even when the comedian goes for a bold eye or lip, her skin is always dewy, bronzed, and natural-looking.
Since she’s so gorgeous without makeup, you have to wonder why Glaser doesn’t go makeup-free more often. In 2025, she opened up to WhoWhatWear about the beauty standards that women in the stand-up comedy industry have to deal with, and the fact that she used to feel reluctant to be overly done-up because of connotations with being feminine: “A lot of times, female comedians in this male-dominated field feel like you have to be one of the guys — dress like a guy and present really masculine — because you want to be taken seriously.” As part of Nikki Glaser’s stunning style transformation, changing the industry’s expectations was crucial. “So I made a decision to not shy away from being feminine… And as soon as I let that go and was like, ‘I want to be a pretty girl’ — my dream always was to be a pop star; I’ve always admired beauty, and the beauty industry, and celebrities — I just committed hard,” she explained.
However, while the comedian’s natural beauty is undeniable, it is clear that more than just a serum by The Ordinary is to thank. With numerous resources to high-end skincare and cosmetic procedures, celebrities usually do a bit more than just your average morning and nighttime routine. In fact, side-by-side pics of Nikki Glaser’s face makes her plastic surgery transformation undeniable.
