(CHANDLER, Okla.) – The Lincoln County Health Department will host the “Spring Into Wellness” Event, which will celebrate older adults, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at the Rt. 66 Interpretative Center, 400 E. First., Chandler, Oklahoma.
At the “Spring Into Wellness” event, older adults and their caregivers will be provided an opportunity to find resources available for them in the community. There will be presentations on topics such as soil samples, affordable cooking, Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) demonstrations, live music, cyber security, Tai Chi, fall prevention, as well as COEDD Aging and Adult Services.
“We are excited to offer this event in Lincoln County,” said Jennifer Nunn, Regional Administrative Director for the Oklahoma State Department of Health. “This is an opportunity to highlight the services offered by the Lincoln County Health Department and our community partners.”
