It’s not uncommon for health-conscious Australians to take a bunch of vitamins and minerals every morning “just in case” they’re not getting enough from their diet.

Many figure the worst-case scenario when doing this – particularly when taking supplements that are readily available over the counter or made with natural herbs – is that the supplements won’t do much at all besides burning a hole in their pockets.
