A new Crunch Fitness will be built in Denton off Heritage Trail near WinCo Foods.

The gym will be new construction and be a single-story building that spans 36,727 square feet and includes a mezzanine, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The cost of construction will total $4.9 million and includes exterior shell and interior build out. Construction is expected to begin May 15 and finish Jan. 27, 2027.
Crunch Fitness is a national gym chain that offers classes, open rooms with strength and cardio equipment, yoga studios, spin studios, HydroMassage beds, tanning, multi-club access and guest privileges, according to its website.
There are several membership tiers, with the lowest price starting at $9.99 per month, according to the gym’s website.
This will be the first Crunch Fitness in Denton. A new Crunch Fitness is also being constructed in the Alliance area of northeast Fort Worth, according to previous reporting.
