Quadpack has created a collection of wooden beauty packaging for makeup products, highlighting the sensory appeal of the natural material. The BeautyWood 2026 collection features a “sumptuous, tactile finish” that aims to evoke an emotional connection with users.

The cosmetic packaging is made from ash or maple wood sourced from sustainably managed European forests. The range includes refillable jars, lipsticks, and compacts that feature Quadpack’s Woodacity technology.

Woodacity is Quadpack’s patented monomaterial closure system that functions without plastic or other secondary materials.

Denisa Stircea, senior category specialist, says: “BeautyWood 2026 is a tour de force in sustainable design and manufacture. Our wood experts integrate computer numerical control carving with artisanal finishing, industrializing pure craftsmanship.”

“The conceptual collection serves as inspiration to imagine new possibilities with wood. It’s a modern tribute to touch that will appeal to luxury houses and niche brands looking for storytelling through package design.”

The collection also offers easy handling and is said to align with luxury and eco-design principles.

Luxury material

The collection’s design theme is fluidity, softness, and natural movement, with each cosmetic packaging aiming to invite touch and emotion. In addition, Quadpack’s low-emission wood factory uses modern carving techniques that work to minimize material waste. Production scrap is also repurposed as fuel for the facilities.

In an interview with Packaging Insights, Virginie Pellé, director of TNT Group’s secondary packaging division, previously discussed using wood in personal care packaging and how timber can evoke ideas of heritage and culture for luxury products.

At Paris Packaging Week 2026, Pierre-Antoine Henry, senior director of marketing for Innovation and Strategic Development at Quadpack, told us that “sustainability, elegant design, and an elevated user experience” will be the key trends packaging manufacturers will tap into.
