Is it just me, or is this year already speeding by? While time is clearly moving too fast, one thing that has slowed me down — in a good way — is how many great beauty launches have already hit the market. As a former beauty reporter and now Editor in Chief of HipLatina, I’m always testing products, and each month I’ll be sharing the ones that actually earn a spot in my rotation, whether they’re brand new or longtime staples worth rediscovering.

As we close out February, a few new additions made their way into my arsenal alongside some older favorites I couldn’t leave off, especially since this is my first list for you all here. From an affordable lip oil I can’t stop reapplying to a belly oil that’s become part of my nightly routine, here are my beauty favorites for the month.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Oil

This lip oil has quietly become one of the most reliable products in my everyday lineup, especially the newer tinted shades. I’ve always liked the sheer Light Pink shade, but recently I got to try the tinted versions, and Mocha Mist has not left my bag since. Paired with a lip liner, it gives just enough color to look polished while still feeling lightweight and hydrating. Some days, I just don’t want a lipstick that dries me out. This gives me the “finished” lip combo vibe without sacrificing comfort.

Cecred Detangling Spray

Cécred sent over their new detangling spray from the Protection collection, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect at first. My immediate reaction was the packaging (the deep blue bottle feels elevated)  and the scent, which surprised me in the best way. I’m usually sensitive to strong fragrances in hair products, but this one smells warm and clean without lingering too heavily.

The real test was wash day. The spray distributes evenly and widely (a win for thick or curly hair), and after letting it sit for a bit, detangling felt noticeably easier and smoother. No fighting with my curls, no extra tension, just slip and ease. It’s officially part of my routine now.

Victoria’s Secret Day Dream Parfum

I got to experience this fragrance at a Victoria’s Secret event in Miami, where they gifted us engraved bottles, and it’s one of those scents that feels like daytime. It’s soft but noticeable and not overly floral. It’s airy but has a warmth to it that keeps it from feeling too light or fleeting, which I appreciate because I like a fragrance that lingers without feeling like too much.

Pure Mama Belly Oil

I’m currently five months pregnant, and after sharing the news with friends and family, one of my friends gifted me a Pure Mama kit that included this belly oil. Now that my bump is really starting to grow, I’ve been using it every evening. It feels incredibly nourishing right away, but never greasy or heavy, which is key because I don’t love thick oils sitting on my skin. It turns something simple into a little ritual every night, and so far, my skin feels soft and comfortable, so it’s safe to say I’m sold.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Gel

This isn’t new, but it’s one of those products I can’t believe took me this long to try. My brows completely change my face, and because my hair is curly, my brow hairs also have a mind of their own. But for me, most brow gels are either too stiff, leave flakes, or don’t hold at all. This one lands perfectly in the middle: flexible but strong enough to keep everything lifted and in place all day without that crunchy feeling. It gives that clean brow look without looking overdone, which is honestly the sweet spot for everyday wear.
