On Thursday, Alo announced ahead of International Women’s Day that it was partnering with more than 100 independent women-owned wellness studios globally on complimentary classes. The wellness retailer is hosting 270 classes in Pilates, yoga, meditation, sound baths and more across nine countries globally.
March 8 will see classes hosted at studios across Los Angeles, London, Miami, Sydney, Vancouver and Seoul — participating studios include Forza in Nashville, Sarana in Sydney, Ayla Pilates in Rome and Homebody in Los Angeles.
Alo said this partnership’s goal is to amplify women founders of independent studios and, in turn, help to foster community connections. Beyond its studio partnerships, Alo is hosting community wellness walks that begin and end at Alo Sanctuaries locations worldwide to promote accessible movement practices.
The company will also be hosting a series of fireside conversations with women thought leaders at Alo’s Fashion Island, Miami Design District and Regent Street sanctuaries locations. Honoring 2026’s theme of “Justice for Women and Girls Everywhere,” the brand is looking to create conversations around women’s mental health challenges. Key themes include mindfulness, movement and community used as tools for healing, resilience and strength.
Furthermore, and as part of its IWD initiatives, the Alo Foundation is supporting The Mental Health Coalition to reach millions of women with accessible and proven mental health resources alongside educational content to help reduce mental stigmas.
“By partnering with female-owned studios around the world, we’re celebrating entrepreneurs who create space for wellness and connection every day. At Alo, we believe wellness is collective — and when we support women’s well-being and leadership, we help build a future where women don’t just participate, they lead and thrive,” said Summer Nacewicz, executive vice president of marketing and creative at Alo.
Registration for classes opens today on Alo’s events page through March 7.
