WHEELING — Co-workers can inspire each other to move at this year’s Ogden Newspapers Wellness Weekend presented by WVU Medicine while celebrating teamwork and camaraderie with the 2026 Corporate Cup Challenge.
Co-workers can tackle their wellness goals during race weekend, scheduled for May 23 and 24. Bond over training together for the Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic walk or run, 5K walk or run or the Tough As Nails Urban Challenge presented by The Health Plan and accomplish team goals or push past your limits.
Every race is a chance to encourage an active lifestyle in your organization. Colleagues work together and cheer each other on every step of the way, from day one of training to the moment they cross the finish line.
This year, make this a fun event for the employers that will participate in the Corporate Cup Challenge with the two divisions — businesses with 50 employees or more and businesses under 50 employees. The goal is to make it fun, easy and exciting to reach new fitness goals with your co-workers.
The Ogden Newspapers Wellness Weekend presented by WVU Medicine offers something for everyone, no matter their age, pace or experience. Plus the team with the most participants wins the traveling trophy until the next Corporate Cup Challenge.
Employers and employees interested in getting their company involved can email Race Director Joe Lovell at jlovell@theintelligencer.net to learn more and get started. Businesses also can be supplied with a special code to register. Participants in the Corporate Cup Challenge can sign up online for any of the weekend’s races at http://www.ogdenwellnessweekend.com
