MIDDLESEX, NJ — The new Planet Fitness in Middlesex borough is now open.
This is the new Planet Fitness gym located in what used to be the Acme supermarket at Middlesex Corner at Rt. 28/Bound Brook Road (125 Bound Brook Rd, Middlesex, NJ) Gym hours are:
Monday to Friday: 5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
The Middlesex borough Acme closed in February 2022, and the store has sat vacant ever since. Planet Fitness will occupy half of the old Acme space.
A Planet Fitness also just opened at the Blue Star Shopping Center on Rt. 22 in Watchung. Both new Planet Fitness gyms are owned by the same franchisee owner, who owns other Planet Fitness locations across New Jersey.
Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation does the commercial leasing for both the Middlesex boro and Watchung shopping centers.
