The next plenary session of the Assembly will take place today, at 17:00.

The focus of this session will be discussions on issues raised by citizens during meetings with MPs, given that last week was green week, dedicated to activity in electoral zones.

According to the agenda, it is foreseen:

Approval of the minutes of the plenary session of February 19, 2026.

Notifications.

Discussions on issues identified by voters.

It is also expected that the session will not lack debates of a political nature, with an emphasis on the immunity of Belinda Balluku, for whom SPAK is seeking her arrest on charges of tender abuse.

On Friday, February 17, Prime Minister Edi Rama made radical changes to the Government, definitively removing Belinda Balluku from the cabinet as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure. Albana Koçiu went to the number 2 position in the Government, while the current administrator of OSHEE, Enea Karakaçi, took over Infrastructure.

Changes in the Government

Belinda Balluku leaves office and is replaced by Enea Karakaçi, who takes the position of Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

Albana Koçiu replaces Belinda Balluku in the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

Besfort Lamallari appointed Minister of the Interior, replacing Albana Koçiun.

Tony Gogu takes the position of Minister of Justice, replacing Besfort Lamallarin.

Ferit Hoxha appointed Foreign Minister, while leaving office Elisa Spiropali.

Ermal Nufi takes office as Minister of Defense, replacing Pirro Vengu.

Eriona Ismaili appointed Minister for Parliamentary Relations, replacing Tony Gogun.
