DP leader Sali Berisha stated in his press conference from the blue headquarters that opposition MPs have expressed their determination to go on hunger strike, referring to their statements about the reaction in case Parliament does not lift the immunity of Belinda Balluku, for whom SPAK is seeking the arrest.
According to him, no action is excluded, but everything must be taken at the right time, while emphasizing that the sovereign’s word is the most important issue.
“The truth is that the deputies have long expressed their determination to move to sublime acts, hunger strikes and nothing is excluded. But, everything, every step must be taken at the right moment. I think that the word of the sovereign is the most important issue on the agenda. What is happening to the Albanians is unprecedented in history. Let us just remember this, a man who for 6 months in a row promised the Albanians integration in 2027 and 2030, now that he has been caught red-handed like a thief, tells them that we do not need full integration. Once again for the citizens, Vučić’s employee, Edi Rama, and his boss Vučić, these two heads of criminal organizations suggest to the EU to grant them only free trade and funds for the growth process and that they do not even ask for votes, they do not accept to meet the Copenhagen criteria”, he said.
