GLENN COUNTY, Calif. – Glenn County’s first annual Weekend of Wellness will take place March 13-15, focusing on whole person wellness.
The event, organized by Glenn2Greatness, will offer free or low-cost health resources and expand the Wellness Walk in Willows into a countywide experience.
Activities begin March 13 with a Medi-Cal training led by Michael Butler and include various wellness events like cooking demonstrations and equine coaching.
On March 14, the Wellness Walk at Sycamore Park in Willows will feature vendors and family activities.
March 15 activities at Stony Gorge Reservoir include a guided Nature and Forest Therapy session. Supported by a $10,000 grant from Shasta College Attainment and Innovation Lab for Equity via SH Cowell, the event promotes eight dimensions of wellness.
