APPOMATTOX, Va. (WSET) — A new salon is now open in Appomattox.

Rooted Beauty Salon is now open at 1573 Confederate Blvd. in Appomattox.
Owner Lauren Ziegler is a first-time small business owner.

She is excited to bring a bunch of new services to the area, including cut and color, hair extensions and styling.
“The services that we do kind of vary. We offer color and cutting. I’ve just gotten into extensions, so I’m excited about that,” Ziegler said.

Ziegler hopes to provide a positive environment and make everyone feel their best.

“I definitely want everybody who comes to feel beautiful and like confident with ourselves, and I don’t know, it’s just something that I really enjoy, and I’ve always loved doing, and I’m just happy to be able to do that for people. I feel like Appomattox is a central location to the surrounding areas. So, I feel like having these services just kind of sets us apart,” Ziegler said.
Ziegler said as of now, it is appointment only, but walk-ins will be available in the coming weeks.
