When she’s not lighting up the sidelines at AT&T Stadium, Reece Weaver of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is leaning into a softer, skin-first beauty routine (with a side of self-care via floral design) that keeps her glowing all off-season long. Known for the squad’s signature glam—big hair, bold lashes and high-impact sparkle—Weaver takes a refreshingly balanced approach when the boots come off.

Her Go-To Beauty Destination

As a cheerleader with an appearance-packed schedule, Weaver says organic partnerships like the one she has with European Wax Center matter, but reliability matters more.

“I think a lot of us go to European Wax Center to help us feel super confident,” she says. “They are consistent, and the staff is great. Our schedule is very hectic. It’s very busy. With appearances, events and games, it’s just helpful to have a very consistent partner. You know that anytime you go to any EWC, you’re always in good hands.”

That consistency is key during the season—and just as important in the months that follow at-home, which is why Weaver keeps two EWC staples on rotation: “EWC’s Dual-Sided Dry Brush is a necessity in the winter. It’s perfect for exfoliating, keeping my skin radiant and glowing.”

She also swears by the brand’s Brightening Ingrown Hair Serum. “It keeps my body smooth in between waxes, while preventing ingrown hairs.”

When the final whistle blows, the shift is immediate and emotional. “Our last game was on January 21,” says Weaver. “That last game is bittersweet because it’s sad that the season is ending, but it’s also really exciting that you get to rest and have some family and friends time.”

Physically, off-season is about restoration for both Weaver and her colleagues. “A lot of us are getting into pilates and doing things for our bodies to recover and strengthen the muscles,” Weaver explains. “In the off-season, it’s really time to recover and to rest and heal, and properly get stronger.”

With her stamina pushed to elite levels during football season, winter becomes a time to recalibrate, both inside and out. “I’m prone to dryness, especially in the winter—it’s crazy,” she says. “Just being able to take care of my skin and my hair and my face, just letting all that heal. It’s really nice to be able to take time to invest in all of that and ask, ‘How can I get healthier and rest for what’s to come?’”

Her Lucky-Charm Lip

Even in the off-season, Weaver loves a finishing touch. Her ultimate glam staple: Pillow Talk Lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury.

“I absolutely love using Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Lipstick! I consider it my lucky charm and best way to complete my glam!” The universally flattering nude-pink shade has become her signature, equally at home under stadium lights or at a spring event.

Creativity Beyond the Sidelines

When she’s not dancing or training, Weaver channels her creativity into floral design—an unexpected but grounding source of self-care to performance life.

“It’s really fun to pivot and have a good balance between dance and doing something else that I love,” she says. “There’s nothing better than coming home from a long day and then seeing that fresh vase of flowers in your kitchen.”
