ABILENE, Texas — One local resident is representing the Big Country in a charity-driven fitness competition.
Veteran and longtime resident Penny Vieau is competing in the national Ms. Health and Fitness HERS competition, where women from across the country are vying for the chance to appear on the cover of a national fitness magazine.

Vieau’s participation is also tied to raising awareness for the B+ Foundation, an organization that provides financial support to families of children battling cancer.
