After winning the Australian Open, Elena Rybakina experienced a turbulent period, marked by an illness that forced her to withdraw in the third round of the WTA 1000 in Dubai.
Present at Indian Wells, the Kazakh player stated she is feeling well and ready to take on the challenge in the California desert. She explained: “I feel good. I hope to be well prepared. So far, training is going well.
“I Hope to Play Well Here”
After Australia, the schedule was busy. I wanted to keep playing, but I got sick between tournaments, which complicated things. After that, I took a few days of rest and resumed training. I feel good now. I hope to play well here.”
