Fitness influencer Stephanie Buttermore has died, her fiancé Canadian bodybuilder Jeff Nippard announced. She was 36 years old.
“It is with profound sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Jeff’s fiancée and partner of ten years, Stephanie,” reads a statement Nippard’s team shared online Friday.
“As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff,” it continued. “She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family, and her PhD research on ovarian cancer.”

Nippard went on to request “privacy as we navigate this tragic loss” and thanked fans for their support.
Few other details, including a cause of death, were provided.
The tragic news comes just days after Buttermore celebrated her birthday on Feb. 25.
According to her YouTube page, Buttermore was a cancer research scientist with a PhD in pathology and cell biology “with a focus on the molecular mechanisms that drive ovarian cancer progression.”
She had more than a million subscribers on YouTube and more than 500,000 followers on Instagram before quitting in 2024, citing her mental health. She often still appeared on her fiancée’s social media account, though.
For Valentine’s Day, Nippard posted a photo with her on his Instagram, writing: “Relationshipmaxxing with tea time to lower cortisol levels.”
They announced their engagement back in October 2022. Nippard at the time revealed their relationship began after he “slid in” to “her DMs.”
