Wilkes-Barre’s Inaugural Diamond City Shamrock 5K run/walk will begin at 11 a.m. in front of the parade reviewing stand on Public Square.
The 5K will benefit colon/colorectal cancer patients, in partnership with the Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA.
Check-in will begin at 9:45 a.m. on Public Square.
The route will continue to West Market Street, then to South Franklin Street, then to South Street, then to West River Street, then to Riverside Drive, then to Locust Street, then to West Academy Street, then to Academy Street, then to West River Street, then to West Ross Street, then to South Main Street, then to Public Square, and back to the reviewing stand.
FEES:
• After 3/8/26 to Day of Race: $35.00 – Race tee will be available for purchase at the online swag store along with Hats, Scarves, Tees, Hoodies, Stickers & more.
• Day of race registration will be open until 10:45 am, via the original registration link and the Onsite QR Code Quick Registration.
• Processing Fee: $6
• No refunds will be given. In the event you register and are unable to attend, registration will be looked at as a donatio

Merch will be available until one week after the race, until midnight on March 22, 2026.
Various race apparel will be available, such as hoodies, tees, long sleeves, moisture-wicking items, hats, beanies, stickers & magnets, to name a few. All items will be delivered approx 2-3 weeks later.
