PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Edge Fitness Clubs announced the reopening of six locations across the Greater Philadelphia region after renovations that added new studio spaces and training areas, the company said.
The updates include the introduction of InfraRED Yoga studios and EdgeLIFT strength training areas at several clubs.
The Cherry Hill, New Jersey, location reopened last Friday, the company said.
InfraRED Yoga studios will be available at locations in Cherry Hill and Voorhees, New Jersey; Wayne, Pennsylvania; and Christiana, Delaware.
EdgeLIFT training spaces will be introduced at the Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, and Deptford, New Jersey, locations.
Company officials said the renovations repurpose existing club space to support additional programming focused on recovery and strength training.
The upgrades also include new strength-training equipment such as free weights, selectorized machines, plate-loaded equipment and functional training tools, according to the company.
“By transforming these spaces into InfraRED Yoga and EdgeLIFT studios, we’re giving our members even more ways to train smarter, recover better, and reach their goals,” Cherry Hill General Manager Brandon Green said.
The Edge Fitness Clubs operates more than 40 locations across nine states and serves more than 250,000 members, according to the company.
