Green Bay Packers Give Back announced this week it has awarded a $250,000 impact grant to Notre Dame de la Baie Academy (NDA) in Green Bay to support its future Health and Wellness Center.
NDA’s Health and Wellness Center will serve the entire student body, providing enhanced space for physical education programs, wellness initiatives and athletics programs, as well as supporting overall student health.
“We are thrilled to have received this Impact Grant from the Green Bay Packers Give Back program for our new Health and Wellness Center,” said Notre Dame Academy President Amy M. Ott. “This grant empowers us to continue providing a nurturing environment where all students can develop lifelong healthy habits, aligning with our mission to support each student’s spiritual, academic, and mental growth.”
The future Health and Wellness Center is one of several improvements planned through NDA’s ongoing “Investing in the Future” capital campaign. The campaign supports NDA’s mission of investing in the formation of the whole student in mind, body and spirit. The new Health and Wellness Center will allow all students more opportunities to learn about health and wellness while establishing lifelong healthy habits.
NDA serves more than 730 students in grades nine through 12 from 25 Wisconsin zip codes. More information about the school is available online at www.notredameacademy.com.
A component of the Green Bay Packers Give Back program, the impact grant, combined with other Packers charitable endeavors, contribute to a comprehensive Packers charity impact in excess of $13 million in the past year.
