A Salmonella outbreak linked to dietary supplements has been reported in Arkansas, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Health officials say the outbreak is connected to Why Not Natural Pure Organic Moringa Green Superfood capsules with an expiration date of 07/2028, along with Live it Up Super Greens supplement powders with expiration dates ranging from August 2026 through January 2028.
Nationwide, the CDC reports at least 97 cases and 26 hospitalizations connected to the outbreak. At least 1 case has been reported in Arkansas.
Officials are urging residents to check their homes immediately and throw away any affected products to prevent illness.

Symptoms typically include:
Diarrhea
Fever
Stomach cramps
Symptoms usually begin 6 hours to 6 days after exposure, with most people recovering within 4 to 7 days. However, severe cases can occur, especially in children under 5, adults 65 and older, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
