The warmest day of this streak will be Friday, as some valleys will approach 90 degrees. Sierra locations will warm into the upper 70s. No storms are in the forecast through early next week, but this historic ridge will weaken and shift east of the region. This will allow for some cooling and more wind, although temperatures will remain warm. The vernal equinox occurs at 7:46 AM on Friday. -Jeff
