GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The first round of the NCAA Tournament wrapped up at Bon Secours Wellness Arena with four games of college basketball on Thursday.
Thousands of fans packed the arena as TCU and Ohio State tipped things off around noon. The Horned Frogs narrowly edged out the Buckeyes 66 to 64.
Underdog Siena took on powerhouse Duke in the matchup of the day. The number-one overall seed barely avoided an upset, winning 71 to 65.
Game three brought the VCU Rams head to head with the UNC Tar Heels. Penn and Illinois wrapped up the night in game four.
