ATLANTA, Ga. (ATL Live) – Guests from Ch8sing Waterfalls, a nonprofit focused on outdoor wellness and community-building for Black and Brown women, joined ATL Live to discuss the organization’s mission and its monthly group hikes known as “Ch8se Embr8ce.”
Deborah (Founder, Ch8sing Waterfalls) and Dr. Kandra Cosby (Ch8se Champion, also known as Dr. Kampin KayCee) shared background on how the group started, the meaning behind its name, and how participants can take part in upcoming hikes and events.
The organization also highlighted recent growth supported by grants and partnerships tied to expanding participation and visibility in outdoor spaces.
