Fitness influencer Carriejune Anne Bowlby is going viral for a 28-second video she posted, which shows off her high-volume meal prep, a common practice in the world of bodybuilding and strict macro and protein counting.

In the video, Bowlby, who has over 5 million followers on Instagram and founded MiniBeast, is seen preparing a bulk meal of 20 boiled chicken breasts and a variety of vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, zucchini, and mushrooms. The mixture is then placed atop a bed of barley kasha, a macro-controlled, protein-dense meal common in the world of competitive fitness.

Although the meal is part of a disciplined nutrition plan, common in the world of bodybuilding, most people discuss other aspects of the video. People quickly pointed out what they thought was a lack of seasoning in the video, making it go viral for the phrase “bland” fitness food.

“Not even a grain of seasoning, which has ZERO CALORIES,” one person wrote in the comment section. Another person wrote, “I dead ass thought this was for a dog kennel.” A third person wrote, “I’d rather be fat than eat that,” while another person wrote, “This white woman is mad fya, but where is the seasoning?”

Although people are talking about the lack of seasoning in the video, it is going viral, and it seems to be for the way Bowlby is dressed, as she is wearing a form-fitting outfit that shows off her toned physique.
