Over the last week, celebrity beauty looks embodied all things spring. While the season started over a week ago, it’s finally feeling like it. For beauty, that means vibrant reds, glistening pinks, and of course, fresh takes on the pixie cut.
Toni Braxton continued on The New Edition Way tour, this time, in a cherry red manicure, blurred wing, and long black hair. Her red matched FKA Twigs’s hair, which was braided into the shape of headphones, for the opening night of her Body High tour. Otherwise, this week’s beauty moments were all about soft pixie cuts, sun-catching highlight, and shades of pink.
Justine Skye bleached her pixie cut blonde with soft flips and equally soft makeup. The Drama’s Zendaya continued her press tour with a teased bixie and smoky, brown makeup. Then, Betty boop swirls on Taraji P. Henson were paired with French tips that lined her entire nail on The Tonight Show. And would it be spring without a little pink? To end the week, ahead of the Millennium Tour, Keke Palmer and Serayah, alongside creative besties Skylar Marshai, Brittney Winbush, and Shema Love, reminded us that getting ready this season is better when you do it with your girls. Then, Sheryl Lee Ralph showed us why she is our forever beauty muse while at home in Jamaica. She served straight “bawdy” and grace with her high braided pony, glowing skin, and commanding strut. As for Halle Berry? With a little workout, she wrote a caption that will be our mantra carrying us through the week, “Got my mind right and my body is following!”
