When you have the most elegant bone structure on the planet, you deserve eyebrows to do it justice. That’s precisely what Kristin Scott Thomas has achieved, with the most refined and polished brow look of the season.

In new Instagram photographs, the Slow Horses actress showed off a beautifully-defined, subtly darker brow look that instantly sculpts her face, making her look more ageless than ever at 65.

The hair-stroke shading, shape and lift is so precision-perfect that it has the look of professional microblading, and no wonder. Her makeup artist, Adam de Cruz, tells GH he used a technique directly inspired by the salon treatment, but without the discomfort or need for expensive top-ups.

‘I drew hair strokes in,’ Adam tells us, when we quizzed him about why her brows looked so immaculate on the photos posted on his Instagram.

As he explains, Kirstin’s new look is down to not one, not two but three brow products from Suqqu. First, he created a base by brushing her brows powder pigments from the 3D Control Eyebrow.

For step two, ‘I set the brows with Suqqu Coloring Eyebrow’, using a superfine brush plus tinted setting gel to fix the shape in place.

The piece de resistance, though? ‘I then filled in hair strokes with Framing Eyebrow Liquid Pen’, he says, a product that clearly does what it says on the tin.

The look was immediately spotted and applauded by fellow celebrity makeup artist Patsy O Neill, who commented, ‘Just beautiful @adamdecruz and real beauty ❤️ inspiring’

Kristin’s latest look echoes the eye-catching brow makeover just debuted by Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh, 61. Both women demonstrate that going a touch darker, and a little more structured can have a transformative effect on a mature face.

Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh had a darker brow recently too

‘As we move into our 50s and 60s, brows naturally become sparser, flatter and can begin to lose their lift, which can make the face appear more tired,’ explains eyebrow expert Karen Betts ‘By refining the shape, adding density and creating a more tailored finish, you can restore structure to the face and open the eye area without the need for more invasive treatments.’

Beautiful women, made even more beautiful than ever.
