March 2026 – Amid the continued growth of the pet market and increasing demand for solutions focused on prevention and longevity, HOOP arrives in Brazil with a proposal centered on functional supplementation for dogs. Featuring science-based chewable products manufactured in the United States, the brand enters the market targeting a segment that is already well established internationally and still expanding locally. The company’s launch focuses on a category that generates around US$1 billion annually in the United States and is still in the early stages of development in Brazil.

HOOP’s arrival is the result of nearly three years of structuring, involving research, technical development, and the creation of an international operation. The project has already required more than R$5 million in investments, directed toward building a solid foundation with a focus on quality, consistency, and scalability.

This investment covered everything from research and development of formulations to production infrastructure in the United States, as well as regulatory compliance, import logistics, and brand building. The strategy was designed to support medium- and long-term growth, with a strong emphasis on credibility and technical delivery.

Functional supplementation focused on prevention and longevity

HOOP enters the market with a portfolio of ten natural supplements for dogs, developed as dietary complements to support vital functions and promote quality of life. The approach is rooted in prevention, offering solutions tailored to different needs and life stages.

The products are chewable, bacon-flavored, designed to facilitate daily administration and increase adherence among pet owners. The lineup addresses needs such as immunity, mobility, eye health, emotional balance, and metabolic support.

The brand already plans to expand its line to cats and other species in future phases.

Structured operation and complementary leadership

HOOP is led by partners and co-CEOs Charles Sperandio and Carlos Henrique de Almeida. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, communication, and digital transformation, Sperandio is responsible for the company’s strategy, positioning, and governance, focusing on brand building and sustainable value creation.

Carlos Henrique de Almeida, known as Caíque, brings more than 30 years of experience in physiology, metabolic biochemistry, and functional supplementation. Leading the production area, he oversees technical development, industrial processes, and quality control, and is responsible for the brand’s formulations.

“My vision has always been clear: health starts at the cellular level. Disease is the consequence of a prior imbalance. This principle guides all product development,” he says.

Launch consolidates validation phase

HOOP’s debut in Brazil follows a 100-day soft opening period used to validate its business model, portfolio, and value proposition with consumers.

“From the beginning, the decision was to prioritize quality and consistency before accelerating expansion. This launch consolidates a foundation that is already structured from the start,” Sperandio concludes.
