As I sit at my desk writing this, the spring sun is streaming through my window, the breeze is cool and the temperature outside is over 65 degrees, which can only mean one thing: winter is officially over (fingers crossed). NewBeauty readers are feeling the change, too; several of their most popular purchases last month were sunscreens, including tinted SPFs ideal for light makeup days and a new SkinCeuticals mineral formula that goes on completely invisible while also targeting wrinkles and dark spots.
But sun protection wasn’t the only category on our readers’ radar in March. They were also quick to shop some of spring’s biggest sales, namely at Ulta Beauty and Dermstore, where they snapped up makeup and skin care at major discounts.
Below, see 10 products NewBeauty readers couldn’t stop buying in March.

SkinCeuticals’ brand-new Future Mineral UV Defense SPF 50 uses a patent-pending emulsion with a new-grade zinc oxide that disperses more evenly across the skin. It’s also infused with niacinamide, panthenol and cellulose—ingredients that support the skin barrier, reduce visible redness, help improve overall tone and reinforce compromised skin. Simply put, this mineral SPF protects skin, targets wrinkles and diminishes dark spots without any chalky residue.

Another sunscreen that got the attention of our readers: K-beauty brand Beauty of Joseon’s Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen, one of the most popular tinted sunscreens of the moment, according to data. “With 12 shades, it’s one of the most expansive tinted sunscreen ranges available,” reports our editor.

Another popular tinted SPF among the masses is from EltaMD. In fact, according to Spate, “EltaMD tinted sunscreen” is at the top of the list. “EltaMD offers tinted and deep-tinted shades across its range of sunscreens, including UV Daily, UV AOX, UV Restore and UV Clear, so there’s a combination for everyone,” notes our editor.

Another March 2026 launch that impressed our readers is Dermaflash’s new COOL de-puffing tool. According to DERMAFLASH founder Dara Levy, the device features sonic vibration with patented SonicCool technology that allows it to reach “the coldest temperature on the market, and in just seconds—no freezer required.”
According to the brand, that temperature helps with lymphatic drainage, puffiness, facial sculpting, hot flashes and more—including spring allergies. “My allergies have been so bad lately, and it feels so good when I use it on the sides of my nose and around my sinuses,” says Levy.

“Spate recently predicted that honey will be a popular fragrance note in 2026, with data showing searches for honey scents have spiked by more than 1,000 percent year over year,” our editor reported last month. Oui the People’s Souk Honey EDP blends honey with notes of second skin—think manuka honey, orange blossom, neroli nectar, cardamom, dates, amber and sandalwood—to create a “warm, uplifting fragrance that captures the feeling of golden hour.”

This alcohol-free, pocket-sized perfume gel is a fragrance-meets-skin-care innovation that immediately got our readers’ attention. Made with hyaluronic acid and fragrance notes of Italian cassis, Madagascar vanilla and violet, it’s a non-irritating, long-lasting fragrance that’s both floral and fruity.

This year’s first 21 Days of Beauty sale, hosted by Ulta Beauty, kicked off with a bang. The first day of the nearly three-week-long event saw MAC’s Glow Play Cushiony Blush at a whopping 50 percent off. The “bouncy blush” blurs the look of pores without sacrificing a lit-from-within radiance, thanks to skin-conditioning ingredients like jojoba and grape seed oils and vitamin E.

Another favorite makeup product from Ulta’s semi-annual 21 Days of Beauty sale was DIBS Beauty’s full-body highlighter, specifically in the shade High Road Highlight, a “neutral champagne with subtle rosy tones.” (Shown here.)

Dermalogica’s Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream has been on NewBeauty’s monthly top 10 list several times since its debut in the spring of 2024. Since then, users have marveled at how it works to lock in moisture and reduce signs of aging both under the eye and on the upper eyelids.

Last month, Dermstore held its own big event: the annual Beauty Refresh Sale, which had dozens of rarely on-sale items discounted by up to 20 percent. Our readers in particular snagged Medik8’s Liquid Peptides Advanced MP serum, a product that the brand says has been clinically proven to deliver a “filler-like effect on the look of wrinkles” and diminish the appearance of expression lines in just 10 minutes, thanks to a formula of peptides and growth factors.
