Heights Wellness Retreat is set to open in July in Berry Farms.
The wellness center will offer membership-based services including massage, skincare, cryotherapy, red light therapy, lymphatic drainage and infrared sauna in a 2,575 square foot space in the mixed-use complex, according to a press release.
Formerly known as Massage Heights, Heights Wellness Retreat has more than 100 locations nationally.
“Heights Wellness Retreat is designed to help Franklin residents build wellness into their daily lives in a way that feels consistent, accessible, and sustainable,” said Michelle Schulte, owner of Heights Wellness Retreat’s Franklin location. “Berry Farms was a natural fit for us. It’s a thoughtfully designed community where people live, work and spend time, making it the ideal place for a wellness concept that’s meant to be a part of everyday life.”
Another health and wellness center, Level, opened in Franklin in December.
WCS robotics students proceed to international competition
Following a recent state competition, dozens of Williamson County Schools elementary, middle and high school students are preparing for an national competition.
At the 2026 VEX Robotics State Championships, the Creekside Elementary Otter Robotics team earned the judges award, and became the first of the school system’s elementary-aged teams to receive an invitation to the VEX World Championship in St. Louis, Mo. later this month. In addition, Brentwood Middle School earned five of the six qualifying awards, according to a press release. Teams from Woodland Middle School and Brentwood High School also earned awards.
“I am incredibly proud of the effort and dedication shown by our elementary, middle and high school robotics teams and their coaches,” said WCS STEM Director Eric Harvey. “Our students spent countless hours designing, building, testing and refining their robots. Seeing how well our teams competed against the best in Tennessee is a true testament to the hard work, passion and daily commitment of both our students and their coaches.”
In addition, a student-led robotics team at Ravenwood High School earned the highest judged award at a competition in late 2025.
L.L. Bean names opening date
After announcing plans for new stores in December, L.L. Bean has revealed the opening date for its Franklin store.
The outdoor retailer set to open an 18,000 square foot store inside Cool Springs Galleria on July 17, The Tennessean reported. The store is set to occupy the former Forever 21 space, Williamson Source confirmed.
“Franklin’s proximity to Nashville, strong sense of community and centrality to incredible outdoor spaces make it a natural fit for us, and we’re excited to become part of such a dynamic town, ” Corey Bouyea, vice president of stores and retail operations at L.L.Bean, said in a statement.
Including those planned for 2026 openings, L.L. Bean has 76 stores in 21 states, with a flagship location in Freeport, Maine.
