The founders of mindful fitness experience Sanctum – Luuk Melisse and Gab Olszewki – will lead a four-night residency called Wellness Within Sanctum at Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel in Anguilla on Maundays Bay, in the Eastern Caribbean.
Between 28 May to 1 June, the 113-key beachfront resort will host guests seeking to experience the Sanctum fitness sessions, which have a cult following.
Sanctum describes its signature movement sequence as a way to unlock human potential by guiding participants to their physical edge and mindful euphoria. The exercise blends disciplines such as kundalini, Zen Buddhism, qigong, somatic movement and HIIT.
The retreat starts with a guided intention-setting experience, including meditation and a sound-healing gong session to ground guests.
Guests have a chance to connect at the pool deck within the Cap Juluca Spa by Gueralain over cocktails and canapés, and a circadian rhythm reset session completes the first night, to prepare participants for a restful sleep.
The agenda for the full days includes various Sanctum sessions in different event spaces across the property with varying levels of intensity for intentional movement and presence. Communal dining experiences at four of the resort’s restaurants, sound bowl sessions and spa rituals are also planned.
Daily sunrise yoga sessions are included, as is the chance to take part in a curated boat excursion.
