Shan’s Salon has announced it has been selected as a finalist in five categories at The UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2026.

The home-based salon in Aylesbury said it has been nominated for Best Home Salon, Best Business Branding, Best for Blonde, Specialist Salon Of The Year, and Best Hair Salon Of The Year.

The business was founded by Shannon Byrne and specialises in creative colour, blondes, tailored hair services, and hair health focused aftercare, and says this focus has earned praise for its personalised approach, professional expertise, and commitment to client satisfaction.

This recognition, as described by the salon, celebrates its commitment to high standards, creativity, and a client experience that combines professional results with the personal feel of a home salon.

Owner Shannon Byrne said the multiple finalist placings reflect years of work building her brand and client base.

She said: “Being named a finalist in five categories is an incredible moment for me and for Shan’s Salon.

“I have worked so hard to build a salon that feels welcoming, creative, and professional, while still keeping the personal touch that makes a home salon so special.

“To be recognised across categories that reflect the salon, the brand, and the work itself means so much to me.”
